Art for Investigators

About the Presenter: John Gates was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and holds a university degree in Art with a second major in Spanish. After teaching high school Art and Spanish, John joined the United States Air Force as a Spanish Linguist and later served as an Intelligence Officer at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). Post-retirement in 2018, he dedicated himself to watercolor painting, teaching at venues like Yosemite National Park and the Southern Arizona VA. John is a member of the Sonoran Arts League and the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild. His artwork is featured in galleries across Tucson and Phoenix and in private homes throughout the US.
